Job Title: Casual Lead Sports Coach

Leisure and Culture Dundee is seeking a Casual Lead Sports Coach to join our team. As a Casual Lead Sports Coach, you will be responsible for leading sessions in the Regional Performance Centre, engaging children in athletics activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the teaching and coaching of various client groups with varying abilities.
  • Deliver a progressive and developmental programme, maintaining participant records and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Check teaching equipment and provide a comfortable environment for participants.
Requirements:
  • Hold an Athletics Level 2 (UKA Athletics Coach qualification).
  • Experience in Athletics coaching, working with children from diverse backgrounds, and planning structured activity sessions.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, adaptability, and leadership skills.
About the Role:

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Leisure and Culture Dundee.
