The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in the Airdrie and Coatbridge area. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living tasks, including support to appointments, shopping, meal planning, cooking, housework, finances, medication, and personal care.

About the Job

No two days are ever the same in this role, and you will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of activities, such as swimming, going to the gym, bowling, shopping, and social events.

Shift Patterns

We understand the importance of work-life balance and are committed to being flexible with our shift patterns. Our team delivers support between 0800-2200 hours, 7 days a week, with weekends and public holidays forming part of your rota. You will usually support between 1-3 individuals per day, with shifts ranging from 4-12 hours long.

What to Expect

If you are successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
