Financial Support Specialist

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist the Management Accountant in preparing monthly accounts and financial reports.
* Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
* Process receipts, payments, and nominal transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
* Reconcile hire purchase schedules and loan accounts to ensure accuracy.
* Upload sales data from Syrinx to the accounting system and reconcile any discrepancies.
* Generate sales reports and analyze data to inform business decisions.
* Process intercompany recharge invoices and assist with Accounts Payable.
* Set up new suppliers, including verification of bank details.
* Process employee expenses and credit card transactions.
* Provide weekly debtors reporting and assist with Credit Control.
* Compile monthly payroll information for submission to external payroll providers.
* Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

**Candidate Specification**

* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with a similar industry background.
* Part-qualified or holding a relevant HNC, HND, or AAT qualification.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
* Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Strong numeracy and administration skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
