- £12.50 per hour (paid weekly) + £2.00 UNS for hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00

Monday to Friday, 05:30 to 14:30 Role Overview The Quality Assurance Specialist will report directly to the Quality Manager. You will be tasked with ensuring that all quality assessments are conducted to the required standards, and any discrepancies are promptly communicated to the relevant departments and the Quality Manager.
Primary Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Specialist:- Product Quality Assurance – Evaluating products against customer quality agreements
- Monitoring product quality to ensure compliance with required standards from intake to customer delivery, including precise data entry and reporting
- Conducting factory audits - GMP, NPD, Glass and Plastics, CCP – according to a scheduled frequency to uphold good manufacturing practices
- Ensuring product compliance with legal and customer specifications, validating adherence to regulations in food production
- Performing product sampling in accordance with the microbiological schedule / Hand and Glove swabbing as per the microbiological schedule
- Verification and validation of documentation - ensuring all necessary process control verification paperwork is completed in accordance with company protocols and legal standards
- Conducting verification checks on the calibration of measuring instruments according to the established schedule
- Participating in TACCP and VACCP teams as necessary
- Adhering to Health and Safety Procedures and promoting safe working practices
- Supporting the QA Process Leader in conducting Traceability in line with the scheduled frequency and as required Desired Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Ability to inspire and encourage colleagues
- Capable of following a daily routine while also responding to ad hoc requests from the Quality Manager
- Able to work independently or as a collaborative team member
- Effective communication skills regarding Food Quality & Food Safety matters
