Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Meridian Business Support Careers. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management System: Update and manage our quality management system, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 conformance.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and processed correctly.
  • Incident Management: Control the incident log and investigate non-conformities.
  • Change Management: Manage change request forms throughout the organization.
  • Supplier Liaison: Create clear, detailed documents and liaise with suppliers when alterations are required.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inward inspections to ensure that items meet specifications and are of the appropriate quality.
  • Warranty Returns: Assist in the testing and assessment of items returned under warranty or out of box failure.
  • Reporting: Create detailed reports for vendors to improve production efficiency using Excel.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance and control.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 conformance.
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
