We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Total Resourcing Ltd.
About the RoleThe Junior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for delivering and managing technical studies, designing mechanical processes, and providing technical support to the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and manage technical studies related to mechanical handling, powder technologies, and compaction and mechanical dismantling technologies.
- Design mechanical processes from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction & commissioning phase support.
- Provide technical support to the engineering team, including reviewing technical specifications and documentation from the supply chain.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience working on UK nuclear sites.
- Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
- Knowledge of engineering design and team management in the nuclear industry or other regulated sectors.
- Experience of delivering projects for Sellafield or Magnox sites is desirable.
