Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at In Technology Group Limited. As a 1st/2nd Line IT Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff across the business, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st & 2nd Line IT Support: Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by staff, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
  • Log and Resolve Incoming Requests: Manage and track technical support requests, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Setup & Configure IT Equipment: Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including Windows, Mac, mobiles, iPads, and other devices.
  • Acquire Quotes and Generate Proposals: Research and obtain quotes for IT equipment and services, generating proposals for the IT Manager's approval.
  • Manage Inventory System and Stock Levels: Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, including inventory management and stock levels.
  • Support IT Apprentices: Collaborate with IT apprentices to build and configure PCs and laptops, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Liaise with Support Team: Work closely with the support team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Active Directory / Group Policies: Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Office 365 & Applications: Proficiency in Office 365 and other business applications.
  • SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive: Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Networking Knowledge: Understanding of networking concepts, including routers, switches, and VLANS.
  • PC Builds and Configs: Experience with PC builds and configurations.
  • Printer Support: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve printer-related issues.
