About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team at the Active Care Group. As a Support Worker for children with complex needs, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children with complex health needs in their family homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals and other support workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs, preferably in a care or support role.

  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
