About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at our DAF Trucks Depot in Kings Lynn. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide variety of trucks and vehicles, including fault diagnostics, MOT preparation, and mechanical and electrical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining trucks and vehicles to a high standard
  • Conducting fault diagnostics and repairs
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections
  • Performing mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Ensuring all work is carried out according to manufacturer's procedures and in a safe and responsible manner
  • Attending technical and development training as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as an HGV Technician or Mechanic
  • Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Ability to participate in breakdowns
  • Skills to follow company processes for completing all paperwork, including accurate completion of job cards and service records
  • Full UK driving licence
