Join Our Team as a HGV Technician at Ford & Slater Limited

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Ford & Slater Limited, one of the UK's largest DAF Truck dealers. As a HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide variety of trucks and vehicles, including fault diagnostics, MOT preparation, and mechanical and electrical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining trucks and vehicles to a high standard
  • Conducting fault diagnostics and repairs
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections
  • Performing mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Ensuring all work is carried out according to manufacturer procedures and in a safe and responsible manner

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as an HGV Technician or Mechanic
  • Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served HGV Technician
  • Ability to participate in breakdowns
  • Skills to follow company processes for completing all paperwork, including accurate completion of job cards and service records
  • Full UK driving licence

Working Hours:

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm

Week 2: Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 10pm
