Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers, general builders, and roofers, to deliver responsive repairs within a designated region.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality repairs, prioritizing customer satisfaction and safety.
  • Manage a budget of circa £1 million per annum, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer, asset, and investment needs across the locality.
  • Engage with residents and community groups to develop co-created services, enhancing customer experience.
  • Lead a customer-focused team, driving the delivery of maintenance services and ensuring a value-for-money service.
  • Operate with commercial acumen, planning, tracking, and forecasting income and expenditure against relevant budgets.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, ensuring compliance within all team activities.
Requirements:
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite, with intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to travel, with access to a car and a full UK driving license.
