Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Neuropsychologist/Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the psychology team, providing direct psychological services to clients, and developing and implementing effective rehabilitation programs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the psychology team in providing high-quality psychological services to clients with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans to promote optimal recovery and independence.
  • Provide training and consultation to colleagues on cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral implications of acquired brain injury.
  • Develop and implement strategies to facilitate learning and management of behavior in clients.
  • Conduct analysis of outcomes and participate in service evaluation to ensure the highest standards of care.

Person Specification
  • Doctorate-level training in clinical psychology/neuropsychology and current HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with adult neurologically impaired adults, including those with acquired brain injuries.
  • Management experience at team/middle management level, including supervising clinical staff and students.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
