The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulations
  • Proven experience in liaising with overseas agents and shipping lines, negotiating rates, and providing quotations to customers
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed quotations and managing bookings
  • Strong background in working with agents and freight companies, including hauliers and courier services
  • Expertise in managing invoicing, preparing essential documents, and customs clearance processes
  • Solid understanding of customs clearance procedures, including experience with CDS, CNS, and Destin8
  • Experience with LCL/FCL sea freight, airfreight, road freight, and courier services
  • Ability to act as a Key Account Manager for specific customers and handle all aspects of their shipments
  • Skills in engaging with a variety of hauliers to negotiate competitive rates and manage job counts, profits, and job targets

Salary up to £45,000
