Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated healthcare assistants to join our Emergency Department at Colchester Hospital.

As a healthcare assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Registered Nurses in providing high-quality care to our patients.

About the Role

We are looking for a healthcare assistant who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and is able to work as part of a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Ensuring high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
  • Working as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team.
  • Working within the boundaries of the role of the HCA and referring to the Registered Nurse as appropriate.
