Position: SEN Support Assistant
Salary:
£87.35 - Day-to-Day Supply, Short & Long-Term Supply & Temporary/Permanent Roles

To meet the needs of the schools, we are looking for dedicated Support Assistants who are enthusiastic about positively influencing the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).


Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in Educational Activities:

Aid the educator in executing tailored learning plans and modifying resources to cater to the varied requirements of students with SEN.

Individualized Support: Offer concentrated assistance to students with particular learning challenges, aiding them in overcoming obstacles and reaching academic and personal goals.


Team Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with educators, guardians, and external specialists to devise and implement effective methods for supporting students with SEN.


Monitoring and Reporting:

Observe and document student progress, behaviors, and accomplishments, and regularly communicate this information to the educational team and guardians.


Encouraging Inclusivity:

Create a welcoming and inclusive educational atmosphere where all students feel appreciated, respected, and supported in their individual learning paths.


Utilizing Assistive Technology:
Acquaint yourself with and employ assistive technology and resources to enrich the learning experience for students with SEN.

Qualifications:
Experience in working with children with SEN is highly preferred.
Relevant certifications or training in Special Education or a related discipline.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Patience, empathy, and a sincere commitment to fostering the educational growth of children with SEN.
