About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Analyst to join our Operations team at Fintech-Rec Group Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payment services and other customer-related services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Authorize and process incoming and outgoing payment transactions accurately and within deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the timely processing and maintenance of Direct Debits, Standing Orders, and related entries within the mandated operational schedule.
- Act as a first point of escalation to resolve customer and internal queries relating to payments, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise and support to the Reconciliations process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions to enhance our operations system.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, payment schemes, and colleagues, ensuring high service standards and making recommendations for service improvements.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of AML, KYC, banking sanctions, and FCA regulations to ensure compliance in handling customer accounts and client funds.
- Produce reports and management information as needed, supporting the Operations Team Leaders and others with ad-hoc requests, projects, or routine duties.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in payments processing, with specific knowledge of UK clearing systems.
- Excellent customer management skills, with the ability to engage with various levels of seniority internally and externally.
- Strong operational skillset, with attention to detail, commercial awareness, good judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, foreign languages a plus.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
