Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Enspec Power Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of power quality equipment, as well as the commissioning of new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake routine maintenance of electrical equipment and instrumentation in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule.
  2. Attend site independently to carry out necessary tasks, ensuring all work is carried out within agreed budgetary and time limits.
  3. Run analysis and carry out fault finding to detect and repair any electrical faults on equipment or instrumentation.
  4. Assist in producing the maintenance schedule for electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  5. Supervise external contractors and internal workers as required.
  6. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company safety rules and health and safety legislation.
  7. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulatory and environmental standards.
  8. Write comprehensive maintenance and commissioning reports.
  9. Support in the training of future site engineers once established within the role.
Requirements:
  1. UK Drivers License
  2. Level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline;
  3. An appropriate apprenticeship or training;
  4. At least 3 years' experience in electrical maintenance work;
  5. Ability to read schematic drawings;
  6. An understanding of both LV and HV electrical systems;
  7. Ability to fault find in electrical power and control systems;
  8. Hold a relevant ECS card;
  9. An ability to work as part of a team.
  10. Good written and spoken English
  11. Capability to work independently
  12. Customer facing capability
  13. Organisation
