Job Title: Senior Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Dietitian with existing experience and specialist knowledge of parenteral nutrition to work within our Trust.

About the Role

This opportunity has arisen due to a maternity leave of the existing post holder. As a Senior Specialist Dietitian, you will be actively involved in CPD and department activities, and have the opportunity to gain experience in a large Intestinal Failure centre working with an experienced and established team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist dietetic advice and support to patients with intestinal failure
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
  • Participate in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Four year degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent
  • HCPC registered
  • Experience of working in a specialist area of dietetics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Awareness of need for confidentiality and issues of consent
