Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Bulgarian Games Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Universally Speaking. As a key member of our Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality games and applications are delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Linguistic Bug Detection and Reporting**: Conduct thorough testing of in-game text to identify linguistic bugs and report them using our industry-standard bug databases.
  • **Test Case Management**: Develop and execute test cases throughout the project life cycle, ensuring that all features are thoroughly tested and meet our quality standards.
  • **Collaboration with Developers**: Work closely with our development team to ensure that Localization QA effectively tests and supports all features of the project.
  • **Continuous Improvement**: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve our LQA workflow.
  • **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with our QA team to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.

Requirements

  • **Expertise in Bulgarian**: Fluency in Bulgarian language and culture is essential for this role.
  • **English Proficiency**: Strong written and spoken English skills are required for effective communication with our global team.
  • **Passion for Games**: A genuine passion for video games and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
  • **Team Player**: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • **Attention to Detail**: A keen eye for detail and a focus on quality are essential for this role.
  • **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with bug databases and test case management tools.

Desirable Qualifications

  • **Previous Experience in LQA**: Previous experience in Localization Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • **CAT Tools**: Familiarity with CAT tools such as MemoQ.
  • **Video Game Industry Knowledge**: Knowledge of the video game industry and trends.
