Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Finance and Compliance Officer at the University of Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our newly funded UK National Hub for Advanced Long-acting Therapeutics (HALo).

About the Role

The Finance and Compliance Officer will play a critical role in supporting the management team in delivering the operational targets of the Hub. This will involve providing high-quality financial and administrative support, working closely with the Leadership Team, academic leads, and industrial partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial and administrative aspects of the Hub, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Develop and implement effective financial management systems and processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree (or equivalent relevant financial qualification, senior administrative experience, or relevant professional qualification by experience).
  • Excellent financial management and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
