Position Overview:

Compensation:
Up to £48,000, depending on experience and shift, along with Veolia's comprehensive benefits package.

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with potential night shifts available).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, performing necessary repairs.
  • Document site activities accurately before and after tasks.
  • Oversee specialized subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments for maintenance tasks, ensuring validity.
  • Maintain and update maintenance task lists regularly.
  • Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and guidelines during all site work.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate maintenance shutdowns.
  • Engage in audits of air conditioning systems and follow up on required actions.
  • Prepare and manage quotations and work approvals independently.
  • Maintain plant asset records and F-gas register.
  • Participate in on-call standby rotation.
Qualifications:
  • Recognized trade qualification, such as City & Guilds in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of utility systems.
  • Desire to expand knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
  • Understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems.
  • Experience in a Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems; mechanical experience is a plus.
