As a Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and analysis of various structures across a diverse range of projects.

You will be responsible for leading design teams, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards within agreed timelines and budgets.

Your expertise will be instrumental in providing innovative solutions and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver detailed design engineering solutions, drawings, and specifications for slope stability, earthworks, and retaining structures, particularly in the rail environment.
  • Competent in piling, piled walls, foundation, and retaining wall design, temporary works, soil nails, ground anchors, and the planning, implementation, and interpretation of site investigations.
  • Proven track record of achievements in technical, commercial, and project management while working in a fast-paced engineering consultancy environment.
  • Able to work in collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in structural engineering design, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing design teams and delivering projects from conception to completion.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
