Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Assistant to join our team. As a Branch Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling and promoting our tile and associated product ranges, and maintaining a clean and tidy showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Service: Use your product knowledge and expertise to sell and advise customers on our tile and associated product ranges, face-to-face and over the phone.
- Representing the Company: Represent the Topps Tiles brand and contribute to the profitability and reputation of your branch by working as part of a team of dedicated professionals to achieve sales targets.
- Branch Maintenance: Ensure showrooms are clean and tidy, and branch standards are maintained.
- Point of Sale Displays: Ensure point of sale displays are up-to-date and accurate.
- Cash Handling: Carry out all cash transactions, refunds, and till processes accurately and in accordance with branch procedures.
- Interior Design Trends: Maintain an awareness of interior design trends and the role that tiles have in renovation schemes.
- Customer Orders: Complete customer orders over the phone.
- Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, even when under pressure.
- Product Advice: Offer specific advice to customers on products and their use.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment.
- Interest in Interior Design: Interest in interior design trends.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
