About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Global Mile team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute business analytics to inform strategic decisions
  • Build data visualization reports and tools for self-service consumption of data
  • Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of structured and unstructured data to automate and optimize key processes
  • Define business problems and solution approaches autonomously, sizing and prioritizing business growth opportunities for maximum return on effort and reduced lead times
  • Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights
  • Partner with data engineering teams to improve data assets, quality, metrics, and insights
  • Proactively identify opportunity areas for deep dive investigations and future program development
  • Create intake and prioritization processes to balance fast-turnaround business needs with regular processes and longer time frame strategic projects
  • Communicate results to stakeholders through concise documents and visualized data to drive decision making
About the Team

The US EMEA Sales Planning team was established in late 2022 to support the growth of Global Mile sales and marketing teams. Our objective is to establish and iterate on strategic and tactical planning processes to help achieve business goals, maximize efficiency, and ROI.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM, Operations, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analysis role
  • Experience working within a business intelligence function, with analytical and modelling experience
  • Experience with Excel, Access, SQL, Python, Perl, or other scripting languages
  • Experience with Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Power BI, or other data visualizations software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, eCommere, Retail
  • Ability to apply statistical techniques and facilitate market research
  • 5+ years of experience working in web analytics
  • 5+ years of experience owning creation and regular circulation of business reports
  • High level of competence and skill set in variety of business analysis
  • Experience in project management and business process improvement
