We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our nationwide expanding restaurant group as a key member of our senior team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing operations, strategy, finances, people, and sales across our in-house restaurants and coffee shops.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee operations with a team of managers to drive business growth and profitability.
- Work closely with managers and chefs to improve margins, maximize profitability, and reduce costs.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze and implement robust systems, procedures, and control measures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the senior team to improve margins, gross profit, and labor spend.
- Create a culture of inclusivity, motivation, and results-driven achievement.
- Detail-focused with strong IT skills and a solid understanding of business operations.
- Experience as a senior operations manager or operations manager in high-volume full-service restaurants, QSR, or retail catering in the independent restaurant sector.
- Strong financial, business, and commercial acumen, including managing multiple P&L accounts, margins, GPs, labor, and stock across an estate/division.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and people management skills.
- Intrinsic understanding of legislation and compliance.
- Ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results.
- Positive and outgoing personality and outlook.
- IT literate.
