About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Inverness. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with the audit team and senior managers to ensure the delivery of first-class service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their go-to person
  • Work closely with the audit team and senior managers to ensure the delivery of first-class service
  • Carry out accounting processes and best practices to ensure accurate production of information
  • Run audits from planning to completion, championing quality and compliance at every step of the function
  • Supervise the audit team during planning, fieldwork and completion stages
  • Build strong rapport with clients, proactively problem solving and handling queries
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling enquiries effectively
  • Keep up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
  • Organise your own workload, ensuring client expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
  • Support the wider firm by undertaking ad-hoc work where required
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities where possible
