We are currently seeking a number of skilled Production Operatives to join our global production company based in the UK.
The successful candidates will work on a long-term temporary contract, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role in the future.
The Production Operatives will be required to work on shift within a manufacturing operational environment that specializes in assembling and testing products for the oil industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all tooling and equipment used on the shop floor is returned to its designated location once finished with.
- Carry out duties in-line with required company 5S standards (visual display/tidiness).
- Perform duties requested by on-shift supervisors or lead operators to support assembly and testing operations.
- Adhere to HSE regulations while on-site.
- Follow Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and Risk Assessments.
Essential Requirements:
- Adhere to HSE regulations while on-site.
- Ensure all tooling is returned to dedicated storage locations when finished with operations.
- Complete any requests from stores/warehouse for items when required and deliver to the shop floor.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing.
- Forklift truck operation.
- Lifting and slinging.
- Crane operations.
- Hand power tools.
- Understanding of assembly drawings and following instructions.
- HSE foundations.
- 5S/Lean.
- Quality management systems.
The roles will work on a Continental shift pattern, with 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am, rotating on a 4-weekly basis.
Overtime is available at a rate of £18.02 per hour.
