Financial Business Partner Opportunity

Rescourcery Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team in Chester. This is a newly created role that will work closely with our CFO and other heads of departments to increase the level of commercial information being distributed across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders: Work with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial guidance to drive informed decision-making.
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics to support business initiatives and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, driving informed decision-making.
  • Financial Support and Budgeting: Partner with operational teams to provide financial support and facilitate budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Impact Evaluation: Evaluate and monitor the financial impact of business initiatives and make recommendations for improvement, contributing to the development of business strategies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CIMA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a finance business partnering or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, and advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools such as Excel and ERP systems.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
