Cameron Kennedy Limited is a leading investment management firm based in London, seeking to enhance its Corporate Actions team with a dedicated professional.
Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporate Actions, encompassing both UK and international practices.
- Must be located in the UK and eligible to work without sponsorship.
Role Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Corporate Actions Supervisor include:
- Collaborating with Third Party Administrators (TPA) on all corporate action inquiries.
- Possessing a comprehensive understanding of corporate actions and their implications on Wealth Management portfolios.
- Grasping the concept of book costs in relation to corporate actions.
- Serving as the main contact for Front Office client inquiries regarding corporate actions, ensuring timely resolutions through proactive engagement with TPA.
- Assisting in all facets of corporate actions.
- Continuously evaluating TPA services to identify potential enhancements that yield operational efficiencies.
- Participating in projects aimed at improving operational effectiveness, particularly concerning corporate actions.
- Streamlining processes within the Operations Oversight Team using IT Development and Microsoft tools.
- Providing support to the Operations Oversight team as necessary.
Accountabilities:
- Delivering regular updates to the Head of Operations, including relevant Management Information (MI).
- Engaging in governance activities to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory updates.
- Reviewing corporate actions on a daily basis.
- Communicating mandatory corporate actions to the Front Office in accordance with service level agreements.
- Ensuring timely responses to all voluntary corporate actions.
- Performing operational and TPA oversight activities as needed to facilitate the smooth operation of the team.
