Senior Clinical Research Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Research Nurse to join our research team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and management of clinical research studies, working closely with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality research outcomes.

About the Role
  • Coordinate and manage clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and good clinical practice.
  • Recruit and screen patients for research studies, obtaining informed consent and ensuring patient safety.
  • Conduct investigative procedures, such as phlebotomy and skin biopsies, under the guidance of a clinician.
  • Update and maintain research databases, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement research protocols, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide education and support to patients and staff on research-related topics, promoting awareness and understanding of research processes.
Requirements
  • Registered Adult Nurse with a strong background in clinical research.
  • Experience in managing complex clinical research workloads, including coordination and management of clinical trials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a flexible attitude to working hours and locations.
