Job Description

Role Summary:

The Doors Sales Executive is a key member of the OKB KONE plc sales team, responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction in the Midlands, Central Wales, and East Anglia regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, focusing on cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the KONE team to improve customer satisfaction, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
  • Manage requests for quotations, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Consult with the Area Service Manager and local engineers to ensure seamless execution of sales and service activities.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, ensuring KONE's solutions meet or exceed expectations.
  • Utilize approved tendering tools to optimize pricing and discounts, ensuring maximum profitability.
  • Input and report accurate and timely information in CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and visibility.
  • Conduct market research and gather competitor intelligence to inform sales strategies.
  • Travel to meet customers, undertaking site surveys as required.

Requirements:

  • Industry experience or a technical background, with a strong understanding of doors, gates, and shutters.
  • Proven sales and customer management experience, with a track record of success.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to find creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of English.
  • CRM and Salesforce experience, with a strong understanding of salesforce automation.
  • A customer-centric mindset, with a deep understanding of what creates value for customers.
  • Good IT skills, with a strong understanding of CRM systems.
