Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Solihull. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality of our software applications and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of software applications and platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing strategies and methodologies remain current and effective.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing and test automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex testing issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical skills, with a focus on software development and testing methodologies.
