We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for establishing and developing our therapy services to provide high-quality care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement treatment programmes with a multi-disciplinary team
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the OT service
- Lead by example to inspire and motivate Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an ambitious Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy and experience in the mental health environment. You will also need excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively control budgets, utilise resources, and provide statistical returns on the service as requested.
