About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Beauty Operations Specialist to join our team at Sephora. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cash and stock processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of merchandise. Unpack, label, and tag products accurately and efficiently. Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, including stockrooms and shelves. Perform regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
  • Stock Replenishment: Work closely with the management team to prioritize stock replenishment tasks. Ensure that stockrooms are adequately stocked to meet customer demands. Restock products on the sales floor promptly and maintain appealing product displays.
  • Documentation and Administration: Assist in handling product recalls and returns in compliance with company policies. Provide support during inventory audits and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Cash Operations: Accurately process customer transactions, adhering to cash procedures as per Sephorapedia guidelines and audit reports. Maintain cleanliness and organization in workspaces like the cash area and gift wrap, ensuring adequate packaging supplies.
  • Customer Service: Foster client loyalty by warmly welcoming, attentively understanding, and exceeding their needs at Sephora. Share product knowledge effectively to drive sales, increase basket size, and maintain a friendly and engaging attitude.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with store associates to understand their stock needs and priorities. Communicate effectively with the management team regarding stock-related issues. Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in store operations (cash and stock), or related roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of beauty and cosmetic products is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and personalize recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Goal-oriented mindset and proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Professional appearance with a passion for the beauty industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
