People Insights Specialist

Certain Advantage is seeking a highly skilled HR Information Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based in Leeds and will be expected to visit the office once a week.
This is a full-time or part-time opportunity, with a minimum of 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and be able to work with various stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Data Ownership and Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and managing all data and information contained within the HR Information System (HRIS). This will involve ensuring the accuracy and consistency of the data, as well as utilizing the system to its full capability.
- People Data Analysis: The candidate will be responsible for developing people data models to support decision-making for the People team and senior management. This will involve providing people-related reports, KPIs, and automating these where possible.
- HRIS Superuser: The successful candidate will take on the role of superuser of the HRIS and other associated tech platforms used by the People Team.
- People Dashboard: The candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of the content within the People Dashboard, which has been developed by the BI team. This will involve working closely with the BI team to ensure the continuous improvement of the dashboard.
- Collaboration with Finance and Client-Facing Departments: The successful candidate will work with finance and client-facing departments to ensure the right targets are set each quarter and that they are up to date and accurate in the HRIS.
- Qualitative and Quantitative Data Analysis: The candidate will be responsible for working with other departments to analyze people-related information, including performance/underperformance, bonus achievement, staff turnover, gender pay gap analysis, and recruitment trends.
- Compliance Reporting: The successful candidate will be responsible for general compliance reporting for the People Team.
- Data Analysis Skills: The successful candidate will have the ability to turn data into insight and understand commercial data and how to interpret and analyze it.
- Technical Skills: The candidate will be proficient with data analytics tools, such as Power BI and SQL, as well as Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
- HR Systems Knowledge: The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of HR Systems, including HRIS and other people-related portals.
- Organizational Skills: The candidate will be highly organized and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
- HR/People Environment Experience: Ideally, the successful candidate will have worked within an HR/People environment, but other departments will still be considered.
