As a Charity Retail Assistant Shop Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of volunteers and staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of volunteers and staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop, including stock management and visual merchandising
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and customer engagement
- Work closely with the charity's fundraising team to promote the shop and its products
- Ensure the shop is maintained to a high standard, including health and safety and security procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a charity or not-for-profit environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
