Principal Project Manager

Sky Group is seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Manager to lead the delivery of Workplace Technology projects across the UK, Europe, and Asia. As a key member of the Group Enterprise Technology Solutions team, you will be responsible for managing the installation and commissioning of technical fitouts, including structured cabling, Wi-Fi solutions, AV and video conferencing systems, and workspace technology setups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design and planning workshops to capture requirements, define project scope, estimate budgets, and secure necessary funding.
  • Manage project budgets, track financials, mitigate risks, handle change requests, and resolve issues promptly to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment on tactical and strategic planning, and providing clear, effective status reporting.
  • Travel frequently to Sky sites in the UK, Europe, and Asia, while being based in Osterley, West London.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including at Executive/Directorate level, fostering strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven expertise in successfully delivering both IT and technical office fit out projects, with over two years' experience in technical project management.
  • Adept at leading and motivating project teams to ensure success and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Waterfall, working to RIBA stages including the ability to develop and refine delivery tools and processes to enhance project outcomes.
