About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Principal Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commissioning business, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our commissioning processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance on commissioning and project management.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with site project leads and health and safety champions to ensure safe and diligent planning, management, and execution of projects.
  • Coordinate with site project leads to provide regular project updates and progress reports.
  • Make full use of our quality and financial management systems to achieve project objectives.
  • Audit project progress, agree and monitor corrective action as necessary.
  • Ensure that commissioning activities are progressing proactively throughout the project cycle, in conjunction with the general contractor and vendors.
  • Verify that systems are set to work optimally and meet design requirements.
  • Provide consultative advice on commissioning and performance requirements, commissioning strategies, and test scripts.
  • Coach site leads to enhance their skills and development.
  • Support programme management and other management duties.
Requirements
  • Registered as a Professional or Chartered Engineer (ideally).
  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification (ideally).
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience in project management or commissioning management.
