About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our Operations team at LINDAL Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production, supply chain, and sales teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Sales Order Process Management: Manage and coordinate the sales order process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
  • Customer Forecasting: Analyze customer demand and provide accurate forecasts to inform production planning and supply chain decisions.
  • Daily Management of New Orders/Amendments: Monitor and manage new orders and amendments to ensure seamless execution and minimize disruptions to production.
  • Demand Planning & Production Scheduling: Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement effective production schedules that meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
  • Prepare Works Order for Production Runs: Create and manage works orders to ensure accurate and efficient production execution.
  • Liaise with Customer Service Teams: Work closely with customer service teams to understand customer requirements and preferences.
  • Sales/Operations/Supply Chain Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders on sales, operations, and supply chain performance.
  • Create Weekly Dispatch Plan: Develop and coordinate weekly dispatch plans with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Updating BOM's/Setting up New Codes: Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and set up new codes as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our key customers.
  • Barcode Label Preparation: Prepare and manage barcode labels for products.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning and supply chain management.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in using Excel to analyze data and create reports.
  • MRP Experience and ERP System Usage: Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Multi-Machine Planning/Scheduling: Ability to plan and schedule production across multiple machines and processes.
  • Manufacturing Processes Experience: Experience in manufacturing processes, preferably in moulding and multi-component BOMs.
  • Report Creation: Ability to create reports and insights to inform business decisions.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in using MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Qualifications: GCSE English and Mathematics qualification to a minimum level grade C (or equivalent).
  • Lean Manufacturing Experience: Experience in lean manufacturing practices (desired but not necessary).
