Community Nurse Specialist

The Community Childrens Team is a dynamic and supportive team based in Sandwell Special Schools, providing high-quality nursing care and support to children and young people with complex health needs. As a Band 5/6 Community Nurse, you will work in partnership with the multidisciplinary team, education staff, and families to deliver exceptional care and support to our caseload.
Main Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with the Community Childrens Team to provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of teaching and learning initiatives.
- Participate in audit initiatives and quality improvement projects to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice and research.
- RN Child branch/RSCN qualification.
- NMC registration.
- Degree in specialty or willingness to work towards.
- ENB 998 (teaching and assessing in Clinical/D33/D32 Practice) or equivalent course.
- Leadership course.
