Your Role as a Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of the Alloy Studio platform. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Developing new functionalities based on user requests and emerging use cases.
  • Improving existing features to enhance user experience and developer workflows.
  • Collaborating with client project teams to deliver complex software solutions.
  • Mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative development environment.

Your Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a team-oriented setting.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a computational field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with writing, testing, and debugging code for various projects.
  • Familiarity with popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid.
  • Experience with distributed storage systems like DB2, Sybase / Sybase IQ, MongoDB.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial Services industry experience.
  • Experience in distributed system design.
  • Experience with Pure/Alloy.
