Food Service Associate - Central London

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Food Service Associate to become part of our Front of House team at Franco's.

About Us

Franco's has a rich history, having first opened its doors in 1946, and is recognized as one of the pioneering Italian dining establishments in London, specializing in both traditional and modern Italian cuisine. Our venue features a bar area, a main dining space, and a basement that can serve as private dining rooms or additional seating.

We are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from Monday to Saturday, with Sundays reserved for rest.

What qualities are we looking for?

  • Prior experience in a similar, fast-paced dining environment, managing 80 to 100 covers per service
  • Solid understanding of Italian culinary traditions
  • Familiarity with various grape varieties, wine styles, spirits, and classic cocktails
  • Able to make dish recommendations based on guest preferences
  • Capable of serving and clearing tables for up to four guests
  • Experience in identifying sales improvement opportunities and anticipating guest needs
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
  • Motivated, dedicated, and success-driven with a positive attitude
  • Diverse knowledge and experience to contribute to the team
  • Enthusiasm, ambition, and a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale software, such as TISSL, is advantageous
  • WSET certification or equivalent is a plus
