About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to join our team at NOVUS Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective hygiene strategies to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance across our manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive hygiene plan, aligning with our manufacturing and technical strategies.
  • Lead and develop the hygiene team, providing training and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional results.
  • Collaborate closely with our technical team to ensure seamless production start-ups and smooth manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and report on hygiene KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with hygiene suppliers to optimize cleaning routines and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage the hygiene budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in hygiene management, preferably in the food industry.
  • Relevant qualifications, including Food Hygiene Level 3, HACCP Level 3, COSHH, IOSH, and Supervising Food Safety Level 3.
  • Previous managerial experience, with a strong track record of leadership and team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Detailed understanding of cleaning processes and procedures.
