Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to join our client's team on a night shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing hygiene plans, managing the hygiene team, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective hygiene plans and systems to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Manage and develop the hygiene team, providing training and guidance to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure that all cleaning routines are optimized and that the hygiene budget is managed effectively.
  • Ensure that all hygiene KPIs are measured and actions are reviewed and delivered.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure that all cleaning materials and equipment are of the highest quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hygiene management in the food industry.
  • Food hygiene Level 3, HACCP Level 3, COSHH, IOSH, and Supervising Food Safety Level 3 qualifications.
  • Previous managerial experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A detailed understanding of cleaning processes and a strong attention to detail.
