Mental Health Advanced Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our Living Well Gedling Team at Nottinghamshire County Council.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to individuals, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to support complex cases and promote independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex mental health cases, including hospital discharges from acute psychiatric wards
- Lead the team in duty and safeguarding work, ensuring the highest standards of care and support
- Develop, supervise, coach, and lead staff to achieve excellent outcomes
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to promote strength-based approaches and prevent the need for ongoing care and support
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with Practice Educator, BIA, or AMHP qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Strong understanding of mental health principles and practices, with a commitment to promoting independence and wellbeing
