About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education to our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across all primary year groups.
- Provide individual and group support to students, helping them to achieve their learning goals.
- Support the emotional and social development of students, ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff members to monitor and assess student progress.
- Supervise and support students during break times, lunchtime, and other activities as required.
- Maintain a positive and proactive approach to managing student behaviour in line with school policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with primary-aged children, either in a school or similar setting, is highly desirable.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. A willingness to undertake further training is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them to succeed.
- The ability to adapt to the needs of different year groups and work as part of a collaborative team.
