About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer Surveyor to join our team at SGS UK Limited. As an Engineer Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing technical and legislative support to our clients, examining client's assets, and reporting on their suitability, defects, and omissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine client's assets and report on their suitability, defects, and omissions
  • Provide technical and legislative support to our clients
  • Undertake statutory inspections as required
  • Produce compliant technical inspection reports in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Incorporated Engineer (or HNC with relevant experience) RG Category 2, or Engineering Technician (or ONC with relevant experience) RG Category 3 and 4(a) or trained in a relevant engineering discipline with a recognised and documented engineering apprenticeship RG Category 4(b)
  • Desirable qualifications include HNC or HND in a relevant engineering discipline RG category 2, membership of a professional organisation, and specialist training in LEEA qualifications, IOSH Working Safely, IPAF Certificate, Confined Space Certificate, Working at Heights certificate, Wire Rope Examiner, and Full Driving license valid in the UK
