Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 2

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our team at St. Joseph's Catholic Infant School. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality support to children in the Foundation Phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in planning, preparing and delivering lessons to children in the Foundation Phase.
  • Assist children with their learning, providing individualized support as needed.
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other support staff to achieve common goals.
  • Provide lunchtime supervision and support to children.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of enthusiasm and commitment to supporting children's learning.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
