About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our client's specialist joinery and fit-out company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality projects, contributing to the design and delivery of exceptional joinery and fit-out solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting
    • Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for joinery and fit-out projects.
    • Produce accurate technical drawings and plans based on specifications and design briefs.
    • Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative solutions.
  • Project Coordination
    • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs are aligned with project requirements.
    • Update and modify drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Assist in the preparation of project documentation and schedules.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
    • Perform thorough checks of drawings for accuracy and completeness.
    • Participate in project reviews and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Previous experience in joinery and fit-out projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction methods related to joinery and fit-out.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Relevant qualifications in CAD, engineering, or a related field.
