About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Assystem, a leading international company specializing in engineering and project management services. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting operations and future programs at our client sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team to author, develop, assess, and maintain Engineering Design Substantiation for Clyde Nuclear Facilities.
  • Ensure that Design Intent, Critical Safety Functions, and Safety and Operational Requirements are met in accordance with current best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Apply engineering knowledge in high-risk environments, including design assessment for reinforced concrete and steelwork structures, and experience with reinforced concrete and steelwork marine structures and jetties.
  • Utilize theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, and manage engineering processes in nuclear/high-risk environments.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in design assessment for reinforced concrete and steelwork structures, including dynamic loads (earthquakes, blasts, wind, rain, snow).
  • Experience with reinforced concrete and steelwork marine structures and jetties.
  • Strong foundation in general and specialist engineering knowledge, utilizing both existing and emerging technologies.
  • Civil/Structural Engineering degree.
